Instructions for authors

manuscript submission

Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been previously published; that it is not being considered for publication elsewhere; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities - tacit or explicit - at the institute where the work was performed. The publisher will not be legally liable in the event of any claims for compensation.Permissions Authors wishing to include figures, tables or passages of text that have already been published elsewhere must obtain permission from the copyright holder(s) in both print and and online format, and when submitting your articles, include evidence that such permission has been granted. Any material obtained without such evidence will be deemed to originate with the authors.
Authors must provide a brief description of the contributions of each listed author (please use initials). This will be published in a separate section before the Acknowledgments. For example: AM and DB conceived and designed the study. AM and BB performed the experiments. GR contributed new reagents or analytical tools. AM and GR analyzed the data. AM wrote the manuscript. All authors read and approved the manuscript.
The title page must indicate: Full name, patronymic and surname of the author(s); Brief and informative title; Avoid using vague abbreviations. Limit the title to 180 characters (including spaces).Affiliation(s) and address(es) of all author(s)Email address, telephone and fax numbers of the corresponding author. It is preferred that you use your institutional email address for correspondence. Please provide abstract up to 250 words. The abstract should be broad based to appeal to a wide audience of IJTTM. Avoid using vague abbreviations or uncredited references. Conclude by saying how this work has advanced the state of the art in the field. Keywords List 4 to 6 keywords that can be used for indexing. Avoid using words already found in the title of the article.
Text FormattingManuscripts should be submitted in Word format. For text, use a regular, plain font (such as 10-point Times Roman).Use italics for emphasis.Use the automatic pagination feature to number pages.Do not use field functions.Use tab stops or other commands for indentation, not space. To create tables, use the table function rather than spreadsheets. Use the formula editor or MathType for equations. Save the file as docx format (Word 2007 or later) or doc format (older versions of Word). Manuscripts of mathematical content may also be submitted in LaTeX format. Headings Please use no more than three levels of display headings. Abbreviations Abbreviations should be defined on first mention and subsequently used consistently. Footnotes Footnotes may be used to provide additional information, which may include citing a reference included in bibliography. They should not consist solely of a reference to the reference and should never include bibliographical details of the reference. They should also not contain any figures or tables. Footnotes to the text are numbered sequentially; data in tables should be identified by superscript lowercase letters (or asterisks for significance values and other statistics). No references are given in footnotes to the title or authors of an article. Always use footnotes instead of endnotes.
Names of genus and species should be in italics. Authors must submit new nucleotide sequences to GenBank before submitting the article for publication in IJTTM. The manuscript must provide an accession number for the novel genomic DNA, complementary DNA, RNA, and other nucleotide sequences discussed in the manuscript. Statistical analysis of results: Authors should indicate in the subsection at the end of the Materials and Methods section the reproducibility or statistical significance of the results, especially if this applies to figures where error bars are not provided (e.g., images, blots). Antibody Use: Provide antibody product code if commercially available antibodies were used.
Citing References in the text, cite them by title and year in parentheses. Some examples: Negotiation research spans many disciplines (Thompson 1990). This result was later refuted by Becker and Seligman (1996). This effect has been widely studied (Abbott 1991; Barakat et al. 1995a, b; Kelso and Smith 1998; Medvec et al. 1999, 2000).ReferencesThe reference list should include only works cited in the text and published or accepted for publication. Personal communications and unpublished works should be mentioned in the text only. Do not use footnotes or endnotes in place of a bibliography. Entries in the bibliography should be listed alphabetically by the last name of the first author of each work. Arrange publications by multiple authors of the same first author in alphabetical order relative to the second, third, etc. author. Publications by the same author(s) should be listed in chronological order. All tables are numbered in Arabic numerals. Tables should always be cited in the text in sequential numbered order. For each table, provide a table title (title) that explains its components. Cite any previously published material, citing the original source as a reference at the end of the table title. Footnotes to Tables should be identified by lowercase superscript letters (or asterisks for significance values and other statistics) and located below the body of the table.
To ensure the best quality final product, it is strongly recommended that you submit all your work - photographs, line art, etc. - in electronic format. Then your work of art will be created to the highest standards with the utmost precision in detail. The published work will directly reflect the quality of the artwork submitted.Electronic Submission of FiguresSubmit all figures electronically.Indicate which graphics program was used to create the artwork. For vector graphics, EPS is the preferred format; for halftones, use TIFF format. MS Office files are also accepted.Vector graphics that contain fonts must have fonts embedded in the files.Name the drawing files using Fig and the drawing number, for example, Fig1.eps.Line ArtDefinition: A black and white image without shading.Do not use faint lines and/or letters and ensure that all lines and letters in the drawings are legible at the final size. All lines must be at least 0.1 mm (0.3 pt) wide. Scanned line art and line art in raster format must have minimum resolution 1200 dpi.Vector graphics containing fonts must contain fonts embedded in the files.Halftone ArtDefinition: photographs, drawings or paintings with fine shading, etc.If photographs use any magnification, indicate this using scale bars within the drawings themselves.Halftones must have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.Combination ArtDefinition: A combination of halftones and line art, such as halftones containing line art, extensive letters, color charts, etc.Combination art must have a minimum resolution of 600 dpi.Color ArtColor art is free for print and online publication.Color illustrations should be in RGB format.Drawing LetteringFor adding lettering, it is best to use Helvetica or Arial (sans-serif fonts).Keep the letters the same size throughout the final size, usually around 2-3mm (8-12 pixels). The difference in font size in the illustration should be minimal, for example, do not use 8 point font on the axis and 20 point font for the axis label. Avoid effects such as shading, outline letters, etc. Do not include titles or captions in your illustrations.Numbering of FiguresAll figures are numbered in Arabic numerals.Figures should always be presented in the text in sequential number order.Parts of a figure should be identified by lowercase letters (a, b, c, etc.).If in your article an application has appeared and it contains one or more pictures, continue sequential numbering of the main text. Do not number the drawings in the application “A1, A2, A3, etc.” However, figures in the online appendices (electronic supplementary material) should be numbered separately.Figure CaptionsEach figure should have a brief caption that describes exactly what the figure shows. Include captions in the text file of the manuscript, not in the figure file. Figure captions begin with the word Figure in bold, followed by the figure number, also in bold. There should be no punctuation after the number, and no punctuation at the end of the caption. In the figure caption, indicate all the elements presented in the figure; and use rectangles, circles, etc. as coordinate points in graphs.Cite previously published material by giving the original source as a link at the end of the figure caption.Placement and size of the figureWhen preparing figures, size them to match the width of the column .For most magazines, figures must be 39mm, 84mm, 129mm, or 174mm wide and no taller than 234mm. For books and book-size magazines, figures must be 80mm or 122mm wide and no taller than 198mm.PermissionsIf you include figures that have already been published elsewhere, you must obtain permission from the copyright holders for both print and online formats. Please be aware that some publishers do not provide electronic rights free of charge and that IJETT will not be able to reimburse any costs that may have been incurred in obtaining these permissions. In such cases, material from other sources should be used. Accessibility To allow people of all abilities and disabilities access to the content of your figures, ensure that all figures have descriptive captions (blind users can then use text-to-speech software or text-to-speech equipment in Braille). Patterns are used instead of or in addition to colors to convey information (so color-blind users can distinguish visual elements). Any digital inscription has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
IJTTM accepts electronic media files (animation, films, audio, etc.) and other supplementary files for publication online along with an article or book chapter. This feature can add length to an author's paper because certain information cannot be printed or is more convenient electronically. Before submitting research data sets as electronic supplementary material. We recommend archiving research data in data repositories whenever possible. Submission Provide all supplementary materials in standard file formats. Please include the following information in each file: title of article, title of journal, names of authors; affiliation and email address of the corresponding author. To ensure that users can download, please be aware that larger files may require very long download times and that some users may experience other issues during download. Audio, Video and Animation Aspect Ratio: 16: 9 or 4:3.Maximum file size: 25 GBMinimum video duration: 1 sec.Supported file formats: avi, wmv, mp4, mov, m2p, mp2, mpg, mpeg, flv, mxf, mts, m4v, 3gp.Text and presentationsSubmit your material in PDF format; .doc or .ppt files are not suitable for long-term viability. A collection of figures can also be combined into a PDF file. TablesTables should be submitted as .csv or .xlsx files (MS Excel).Custom formatsTables should be submitted as .csv or .xlsx files ( MS Excel).Collecting Multiple FilesYou can collect multiple files into a .zip or .gz file.NumberingIf any additional material is provided, there should be specific mention of the material in the text in the form of a citation, similar to figures and tables.Name additional files as “Online Resource” , for example: ...as shown in the animation (Online Resource 3), ...more details are given in Online Resource 4.Name the files sequentially, e.g. ESM_3.mpg, ESM_4.pdf. Captions For each supplementary material, please provide a brief caption describing the contents of the file. Processing of supplementary files Electronic supplementary material will be published as received from the author, without any conversion, editing or reformatting.AccessibilityTo ensure that people of all abilities and disabilities have access to the content of your supplementary files, ensure that the Manuscript contains a descriptive caption for each supplementary material. The video files do not contain anything that flashes more than three times per second (to prevent users prone to seizures caused by such effects were not at risk)
IJTTM will not publish manuscripts in which the functional significance of changes in gene expression is based on transcript data alone. It is important to provide supporting evidence for any such interpretation, for example by measuring changes in relevant proteins or relevant physiological data.
